Ramón Bilbao's objective was to launch a platform to connect with the trade in order to continue promoting Spanish wine culture.
The Spanish Wine Academy project was already doing this, but it demanded an asset that worked on wine from a more professional perspective.
We analysed the sector and realised that there was no competition-type format that was very rigorous in content, but at the same time visual, dynamic and entertaining, both for the participant and for the general public.
B.REAL
We created a global competition called “Spanish Wine Master”, whose objective was simple: to find the person who knows the most about Spanish wine in the world
4 markets were activated
- Spain
- UK
- Colombia
- Dominican Republic
And we divided the competition into 3 phases
- Recruitment: 100% digital, with an online test that anyone could take.
- Qualifiers: Hybrid, in a format broadcast from the Ramon Bilbao offices where 50 participants competed to be finalists through a series of tests
- Final: 10 people on a stage with the aim of proving that they were the real “Spanish Wine Master”
